Okanagan Hockey Colorado Named As Official Guest Organization at 15U & 17U DL ~ NE Pack 27-28 Season

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Northeast Pack Hockey League Welcomes Okanagan Hockey Colorado as the

Official DL Guest Organization for the 2027-2028 Season

The Northeast Pack Hockey League is excited to announce that Okanagan Hockey Colorado will join the league as a guest organization at the 15U DL and 17U DL age divisions for the 2027-2028 season. The NE Pack plans to have 2-3 events for the 27-28 season that will include guest teams only at the 15U DL & 17U DL divisions along with the Fromen Injury Law Showcase. Okanagan Hockey Colorado will be the only organization at the DL ages that will attend all NE Pack events where guest spots are offered. The dates for the 27-28 season will be announced soon.

Okanagan Hockey Colorado was founded with the hopes of providing youth hockey players with an environment where they can develop on and off the ice. In four years, OHC has won 7 state championships, 4 district championships, and one national championship. This partnership represents an exciting opportunity to welcome Okanagan Hockey Colorado into the Northeast Pack Hockey League as the first Western organization.

“We are incredibly grateful to Mark Mobus and the NE Pack League members for welcoming Okanagan Hockey Colorado as a guest participant for the 2027-2028 season with our 15U and 17U Development League teams,” said Brooke Wilfley, Okanagan Hockey Colorado President. “At OHC, our philosophy has always been to do things the right way and with the right people. The NE Pack League and its member programs embody those values. We are honored to compete alongside some of the best programs and coaches in the country and look forward to this exciting opportunity for our student-athletes.”

“We want our players to have the opportunity to compete against the best, and the NE Pack League provides exactly that. We are grateful to Mark Mobus and the league’s members for welcoming our Development League teams as guest members for the 2027-2028 season,” said David Clarkson, OHC Managing Director.

“Since the announcement of the USA Hockey DL, I have had several conversations with Brooke, David and Jason. Those conversations have been very professional and meaningful for me as commissioner. They are great people who genuinely care about the game and, most importantly, are focused on doing what is right for their players. The decisions they are making as an organization reflect a commitment to player development and putting the best interests of the players first. That philosophy aligns directly with the values of our current full-time members and we can’t wait to host Okanagan and for them to play our teams in the 27-28 season,” said Northeast Pack Hockey League Commissioner Mark Mobus.

The addition of the Okanagan Hockey Colorado organization as a guest team at the DL divisions, reflects the Northeast Pack Hockey League’s continued commitment to providing competitive hockey opportunities, supporting player development, and building strong partnerships with organizations that share the same vision as the league.
