The Northeast Pack Hockey League Welcomes the Chicago Mission and

Reapers Hockey Association Starting in the 2026-2027 Season

The Northeast Pack Hockey League is proud to announce the addition of two highly respected organizations - the Chicago Mission and the Reapers Hockey Association - to the league that will start in the 26-27 youth hockey season. Both organizations will enter all four teams in the league (14U-18U teams) that align currently with the Northeast Pack Hockey League structure. The Mission and Reapers exemplify the competitive excellence, professionalism and player development that aligns perfectly with the league’s mission to provide elite competition and exposure for our athletes pursuing the next level of hockey.

League Commissioner Mark Mobus expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion and shared the value of his long-standing relationships with both organizations. “On behalf of the Northeast Pack Hockey League, I am proud to welcome the Chicago Mission and the Reapers Hockey Association as the newest members of our league. Both organizations bring outstanding reputations and a deep commitment to player development and advancement. My relationship with both organizations over the past few years has built mutual respect and trust, and I am pleased that connection has led them to join our league. Their decision reflects the growing level of competition and the valuable exposure that the Northeast Pack Hockey League provides. We’re excited to work with both the Mission and Reapers on a more consistent basis and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our league for years to come.”

“Joining the Northeast Pack Hockey League aligns with our core principles of playing the best competition and meaningful travel. We’ve been scheduling with the organizations in the NE Pack for years and now we are thrilled to be formalizing those relationships,” said Gino Cavallini, the President of the Chicago Mission Hockey Club.

“When Mark Mobus of the NE Pack offered the Reapers an opportunity to join the league, we could not have been more honored or excited. The NE PACK is, without question, the premier U14–U18 Tier 1 league in the United States. The level of competition and exposure is simply second to none. Becoming part of something so special is an opportunity we could not pass up for our organization, players, and families. We sincerely thank all the voting members for welcoming us into their outstanding league, and we cannot wait for the 2026–27 season to begin,” said Steve Dry, the President of the Reapers Hockey Association

With the addition of the Chicago Mission and the Reapers Hockey Association,, the Northeast Pack Hockey League continues to strengthen its position as one of the premier platforms for elite hockey players. The league provides top-tier competition, professional structure at all league events and unmatched visibility to scouts across all levels of junior hockey organizations and NCAA.
