Inaugural Commissioner's Cup ~ 26-27 Regular Season

The Northeast Pack Hockey League is excited to announce the Commissioner's Cup for the 2026-2027 regular season for ages 14U-18U! This inaugural award will recognize the organization that accumulates the highest total number of points across all four age groups during the regular season. 

The regular season will feature five showcases:

Utica, NY - October 2-4, 2026

Chicago, IL - October 16-18, 2026

Pittsburgh, PA - November 20-22, 2026

Bridgewater & Woodbridge, NJ - December 11-13, 2026

Rochester, NY - January 8-10, 2027

Points earned by each team throughout the regular season will be combined to determine the recipient of the Commissioner's Cup. A regulation win will earn 3 points, OT/SO win will earn 2 points and an OT/SO loss will earn 1 point. The Commissioner's Cup is designed to celebrate organizational success, teamwork and league-wide support, while creating another exciting element for our players, coaches and families throughout the season. 

The inaugural Commissioner's Cup will be awarded in Rochester, NY on Sunday, January 8, 2027, bringing the regular season to a special conclusion as we recognize the organization that wins this award.

We want players checking scores, following the standings and paying attention to what is happening in the other age groups within their organization. This is about creating a true organization-wide culture. We want our players, coaches and families to feel connected to all of the teams in their organization and to be proud of being part of the Northeast Pack Hockey League," said Northeast Pack Hockey League Commissioner Mark Mobus. 

The 13O (2013) playoffs will also take place the same weekend as the Commissioner's Cup is awarded. The 14U-18U league playoffs will take place on February 4-7, 2027.
