2025-2026 Northeast Pack Playoff Game Procedures
Home team wears WHITE jerseys
Away team wears DARK jerseys
Start game on clean ice
5 minute warmup - All teams must bring their own pucks
Three 17 minute periods for all ages
Resurface after the first WHISTLE in the second period AFTER the 8:30 minute mark for all ages
If the game is tied after regulation, there will be a 3v3 5 minute OT period
In the round robin games and semi finals, teams will switch ends for the OT period
If there is no goal in the OT period, the game will go to a 3-man shootout to determine the winning team
In the shootout, the shooters can repeat after the first 3 players have gone
In the SEMI FINALS ONLY, the 3v3 OT period will be 10 minutes before going to a SO
In the FINALS, the game will not be decided by a shootout. The 3v3 OT will be a 10 minute period and will continue until a team scores
In the FINALS, teams do not switch ends for the OT period and will not have the long change
Each team has one timeout per game for all games
Scoring:
Regulation Win - 3 Points
OT/SO Win - 2 Points
OT/SO Loss - 1 Point
